Quinta do Lago Beach

An unspoiled place


Quinta do Lago Beach is a beautiful beach in Natural Park of “Ria Formosa”, that means that you will have the feeling of being completely surrounded by nature without any buildings, just you and nature. This is a long white sand beach, with smooth waves of clear water, with all the facilities you will need. There is a long wooden bridge over the estuary to walk from the car park to the beach. Here you will experiment a unique view of beach, the estuary, the villas in the back and some holes of San Lorenzo golf course. This beach is known for being frequented by the local jet-set.

It is also perfect for family holidays, if this is your case you have to go there. 

Quinta do Lago Beach


This beach is located right in front of the resort with the same name, Quinta do Lago, one of the most well known and luxurious resort of Algarve. You have Quinta do Lago Hotelright in the beginning of the wooden bridge. But also very near you have the Vale do Lobo resort and Almansil as the nearest location. If you like to play golf then this region has many golf courses to choose, the Quinta do Lago North and Quinta do Lago South, Vale do Lobo’s Royal and Ocean, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. It is not an easy choice.

Getting There

From the EN125, in Almansil you have to turn to the EN527 the will lead you to Vale do Lobo. When you reach Vale do Lobo you must turn left to Quinta do Lago. After passing the Shopping Center you have to go straight ahead through several roundabouts ending in the car park near the Quinta do Lago Hotel.
